Gerard Butler

In London, Gerard Butler held a series of odd jobs until being cast by actor and director Steven Berkoff (who later appeared alongside him in Attila (2001/I) (TV)) in a stage production of Coriolanus. He was cast as Ewan McGregor's character Renton in the stage adaptation of Trainspotting, the same play that had inspired him to become an actor. His film debut was as Billy Connolly's younger brother in Mrs. Brown (1997).

Scarlett Johansson played Silken Floss, a femme fatale and ally of Samuel L. Jackson's villain The Octopus, in Frank Miller's film noir, comedy adaptation of The Spirit. She can really sing. She's like between soprano and high-alto. I challenged her vocally. I pushed her, but not too far. I pushed her where vocally it fit the track."

Jennifer Aniston

While Jennifer Aniston appeared on Friends, Aniston also started segueing into film roles. She made her film debut in 1992's Leprechaun which was negatively reviewed by critics at the time, but was commercially successful and gained a cult following. Leah Remini

After appearing in short-lived series, First Time Out and Fired Up, Leah Remini landed the role of Carrie Heffernan on the CBS sitcom The King of Queens. During her time on the show, she had a supporting role in the comedy film, Old School (2003). The King of Queens ran for nine seasons, from September 21, 1998 to May 14, 2007. De Pablo was born in Santiago, Chile, to an upper-class Roman Catholic family. She has two younger sisters, one named Andrea. In grade 5, she found many people could not properly pronounce her first name of "Maria José" so she asked them to call her Coté (which is a common nickname for María José in Chile). When de Pablo was ten, her mother, María Olga Fernández, received a job in Miami, Florida, at a Spanish-speaking television network. There, de Pablo attended Arvida Middle School and New World School of the Arts where she studied musical theater. She then attended Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she studied music and theater and appeared in several plays. They include: And The World Goes 'Round, The House of Bernarda Alba, Indiscretions, The Fantasticks, and A Little Night Music. Cote De Pablo graduated in 2000.

Gwyneth Paltrow has been the face of Estée Lauder's Pleasures perfume since 2005.

Traci Lords

In the 1990s, Traci Lords began developing a career as a singer, performing vocals on the Manic Street Preachers' U.K. Top 40 hit "Little Baby Nothing," and also appearing in the music videos of other performers and groups. In 1995, Traci Lords made her solo debut, in collaboration with Juno Reactor and Jesus Jones' Mike Edwards, called 1000 Fires. The Juno Reactor-produced first single "Control" reached #2 on the Billboard Dance Charts. The song "Control" was featured in the 1995 movie adaptation of the game Mortal Kombat, which played as an instrumental.

Keeley Hazell was regularly featured in Nuts, Zoo and continues to appear in The Sun at least once a month. Keeley Hazell has been on the cover of The Sun's 2006 and 2007 Page 3 calendars, in addition to her own wall calendars, the 2007 edition selling 30,000 copies in its first few days of release.
